Introduction and objectives

Anyone preparing to become a lawyer today must also think about what specialty or sector they will provide their services in the future. You should not do it according to the way in which law is divided, to study it, in the faculties, but according to the way in which law firms and legal departments of companies are organized: by economic sectors.

There is an immense industry, of which we are practically all consumers and in which the possibilities for future growth are exponential. Why continue as a spectator when you could be part of this industry?

The audiovisual markets (video games, the music industry, and the performing arts) are undergoing a profound technological transformation that requires specialist professionals and lawyers to work in a field where the artistic and creative meet the law and business.

The Master’s in Audiovisual, Music and Performing Arts Law offers a solid and integral training base to anyone who aims to develop a career in the world of television, audiovisual and music production, tech companies, the video game industry, the performing arts, concert promotion, festivals, live shows and music tours.

The faculty is drawn from the most prestigious firms and specialists from the top businesses and institutions in the audiovisual and video game industry. These are the firms and organisations that will later open their doors to students of the Master’s to enable them, through a period of work experience, to take the first step towards a career in this thrilling world.
